Helping Hands of Rosa Street are a group of volunteers who raise funds to support our School. Their fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated. They also volunteer in school to help children with their reading, support classroom staff with practical tasks and help walk children to special events.
Current committee members are:
- Helen Ashton (Head Teacher)
- Kate Tarling (Chair)
- Lynda Kelley (Treasurer)
- Lynsay McIvor (Secretary)
- Joanne Wakes (Communications)
- Margaret Lowther
We also have many other parents who lend a hand when they are able but cannot always attend meetings.
Fundraising this year
Over the past year, money has been raised at various events in school from discos to selling calendars to selling refreshments at school events. So far, some of this money has paid for the children to watch a pantomime in school, has bought a set of computer programming equipment to be used in classes and will be going towards the purchase of a school sports kit which will be used when the school is involved in competitions with other schools.

Helping Hands of Rosa Street Events
This is usually a busy half term in the lead up to Christmas. Helping Hands will be involved in:
A Christmas bauble making competition
Producing and selling calendars that the children will draw pictures for.
Selling sweets at the school Christmas production
Shopping, wrapping and running a Christmas gift stall so that the children can buy small gifts for their parents and carers.
If you are interested in getting involved in some of these things then please contact the school office or email Kate Tarling on email@example.com.
